We also have a CNC milling XYZ 4000 bed mill that has I 1metre longitudinal traverse. This enables us to do larger jobs. We also have an XYZ 560 machining centre with Siemens 840 shop mill. This has a 500mm x 500mm table for smaller batch work.

For the larger work there is the horizontal borer. This is a Union 80/2 with digital readout in 3 axis table size which measures 1,200 mm x 1,200 mm x 1,000 high. This enables us to machine large castings and fabrications. We can offer first article inspection,  full material tractability and certificates of conformity.

We are able to offer one-off prototypes to batch work.

We can also offer dye penetrant crack detection.

• Precision Boring

  Union 80/2 with digital readout in three axis can bore up to 800mm diameter. The table size is 1,200mmx 1,200mm the maximum height is 900mm.

• Precision Milling

  All our milling machines are CNC machines. One of these machines can be used as a manual machine if required.

• Precision Turning

  XYZ 555 3 metre gap bed pro-turn lathe this machine can turn shafts up to 3 metres long up to 350mm over the saddle and flanges up to 800mm diameter.
